Se faire éditer chez Lulu?

Ca a l'air sérieux mais je n'ai pas testé en détail, donc attention avant de vous y lancer les yeux fermés! Mais c'est le problème du web/blog/site et tutti quanti: on ne résiste pas à délivrer une info même non vérifiée. Tout le monde le fait, alors pourquoi pas moi? (non, je rigole bien sûr... m'enfin...)
Bref, je suis tombé sur le site de Lulu qui vous édite en un clin d'oeil tout ce que vous voulez (livres, CD? DVD, etc.), pour une somme modique (quelques dollars). Tout le reste est gratuit, tout se fait en ligne, vous transmettez votre contenu, choisissez votre format de page, votre couverture, votre prix de vente (Lulu prend 20% des revenus...).
Et hop, quelques minutes après, c'est au catalogue. Celui-ci contient déjà quelques oeuvres écrites en français...
Apparemment, c'est pas nouveau, ça existe depuis un moment  et le bidule aurait été créé par Bob Young, un des fondateurs de Red Hat (open source). C'est ce que j'ai lu chez Google.
Le secteur du "self-publishing" semble être florissant.
Qui est vraiment sérieux dans ce business?
Comment se vendent les livres de Lulu?
